Hot Apple Oatmeal


I made this for my families sunday big breakfast. My family liked it. When i made this i used juicy juice apple juice, i used sweetened cinnamon applesauce as that's what i had on hand, and i added 1/2 teaspoon more cinnamon. I tripled the batch and it turned out just fine. I had enough to feed my family and still have some for breakfast the next day. I thought it is very filling. I think it would be great with chunky applesauce. I got the recipe from everyday health.

Steps


Mix oats and juice in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil , then remove from heat and cover.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add applesauce and cinnamon and stir well.
For more fiber , add 1 tablespoon dried fruit , nuts or bran.
