Homemade Chocolate Cake

This is a recipe that has been handed down in the post family. the cake when baked may have a crack down the middle. the cupcakes come out perfect.

Preheat the oven to 375f.

Sift the dry ingredients together 3 times.

Beat the eggs , buttermilk , oil and vanilla together.

Mix wet with dry ingredients.

Add 1 cup boiling water.

Lower the oven to 350f bake the cake 1 hour.
