I learned to make this pita bread sandwich years ago from friends and still make it today.
Steps
Brown the sausage.
Allow to cool.
Mix in the cheese.
Stuff the pita bread halves with the sausage mixture.
Wrap individually in foil.
Heat in a 350f oven for 20 minutes.
