Easy Maple Butter Sauce


This is a quick and easy sauce to serve over ice cream or pound cake. Add some chopped toasted walnuts or pecans to finish.

Steps


In a small saucepan bring maple syrup and butter to a boil over medium heat.
Boil for 3 minutes , stirring constantly.
Cool to room temperature.
Whisk in cream.
Store in the refrigerator.
