Crowdie Mowdie A Steamed Pudding Scotland


This recipe comes from the 1983 cookbook, traditional british cooking.

Steps


The night before intending to serve this at a midday meal , combine all the ingredients in a heatproof , ceramic container.
Stir well to combine , then cover it & let it stand overnight.
In the morning , set the loosely covered container in a saucepan of water & steam for about 4 hours.
Slice into 4 sections & serve.
