Apple Cider


From a 1960s rural new zealand cookbook, this is the recipe for apple cider. I haven't tried it yet as i am still collecting enough swing stoppered glass bottles to recycle for this recipe! Cook time is actually the standing time

Steps


Cut apples into pieces , skins and cores.
Add sugar and raisins.
Cover with boiling water.
Allow to stand for 4 days.
Strain and bottle.
Tie corks down !.
