Steps

Layer lettuce , onion slices , peas and bacon in large straight sided clear glass serving bowl.
Mix mayonnaise , parmesan cheese and sugar.
Spread over salad to seal.
Cover.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Top with cheese crumbles and tomatoes just before serving.
