Chili With Potatoes

We lovingly refer to this as german chili" in our family. My grandmother started putting potatoes in her chili and my father won't eat it any other way. People think it sounds crazy until they have a bite! Give it a try!"

Steps

Brown hamburger and onions.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Put into large stew pot.

---

Add in all remaining ingredients and stir well.

Cook over medium heat about an hour or until potatoes are tender.

Add water occansionally if needed.

hamburger, onion, tomatoes, tomato paste, dark red kidney beans, light kidney beans, celery, chili powder, cumin, green chilies, water, potatoes
