Caramel Coated Walnuts

A very tasty treat if you like candy coated nuts. This recipe came from the back of aldi's southern grove walnuts 4 cup bag.

Steps

---

Mix together brown sugar , margarine , white corn syrup , cream of tartar , and salt.

Bring to a boil for 3 minutes stirring often.

---

Remove from heat.

---

Add baking soda and stir well until settles.

---

Pour over walnuts and stir until well coated.

---

Pour into a large pan.

---

Bake at 200 degrees for 1 1 / 2 hours , stirring every 15 minutes.
