Spiced Maple Pears
This recipe calls for sweet spice blend, recipe #164342, but you can use apple pie spice in it's place. serve over waffles, ice cream, or shortcake.
Steps
Peel pears , if desired , and cut into thin slices.
Melt butter in skillet over medium-high heat until light brown.
Stir in maple syrup , brown sugar , and sweet spice blend until smooth.
Add pear slices and cook 1-2 minutes , stirring often , until pear are softened.
