Quick Peach Cobbler

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law about 26 years ago. She is almost 92 years old now. This is the best peach cobbler i have ever eaten. We like to top it off with ice cream. Anybody that has ever eaten this at my house loves it.

Steps

Melt butter and pour over peaches in a shallow baking dish.

Sprinkle 1 / 2 cup sugar over peaches.

Mix 1 / 2 cup sugar , 3 / 4 cup flour , 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 / 2 cup milk.

Drizzle over peaches.

---

Bake at 350 until crust is brown.
