Mixed Berry Milk For Drinking Or Cereal Non Dairy

I love fruit on my cereal, but i don't indulge in it often enough, so here i created a recipe to pour over cereal that contained both the milk and the berries, but is just great from a glass, as well. strawberry milk is a second fave to chocolate milk, but the ingredients in this berry milk are more common in my kitchen than strawberry syrup, so i compromised w/frozen mixed berries and unsweetened soy milk. it's a different texture than what you'd get using strawberry syrup, and healthier, too. i also have ibs, which means i'm not supposed to eat dairy. this is great on shredded wheat, i just made this this morning and am eating it now. :) this is supposed to be thicker than milk (due to the frozen fruit), but thinner than a smoothie, but you can certainly make this into a smoothie w/the addition of some soy yogurt, flavored or plain.

Steps

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth , adding honey to taste.
Add any extra milk or berries as desired.
I used 1 / 2 cup of berries to 1 cup soy milk for a more subtle berry flavor , and i thought it made a good consistency and taste for both drinking and eating on top of cereal.

Ingredients

frozen mixed berries, unsweetened soymilk, honey
