Miel De Nuez Mexican Honey Nut Syrup
I haven't made this myself, but i've eaten it on sopaipillas before, and it's lovely. I would imagine it would be delicious on any type of fried pastry, or even on ice cream or pancakes. From mexican desserts and drinks.
Steps
Combine honey , butter and spices in a small saucepan , and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes more.
Remove from heat , and allow to cool slightly.
Add nuts , and mix well.
