Idaho Potato Chowder


Chowder made the idaho way. Serving size depends of course on how much a person takes.

Steps


Cook bacon , reserve drippings.
Saute green onions and garlic in drippings until tender.
Add the potatoes , bullion , water , salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer , covered for 20 minutes , or until potatoes are tender.
Whisk together milk , flour and parsley.
Stir into potato mixture.
Cook until thick.
Add bacon and serve.
