Homemade Sweet Potato Biscuits
These are a slice of country ham's bestfriend.
Steps
Combine the first 3 ingredients.
Cut in the butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
Stir together the sweet potatoes and the buttermilk.
Add to the dry ingredients and stir just until moist.
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead 3 to 4 times.
Pat or roll to -inch thickness.
Cut the dough with a 3-inch cutter and place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 425f for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden.
