Herbed Spaghetti Sauce


An easy and tasty recipe to put together! i've made this several times and think it's quite good. from chatelaine magazine.

Steps


Heat oil in a wide saucepan.
Add beef and cook over medium heat , breaking up with a fork , until no pink remains , about 6 minutes.
Add onion , green pepper and garlic.
Saute , stirring often , until onion has softened slightly , about 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil , stirring frequently.
Reduce heat to low.
Simmer , covered , stirring often , for 10 to 15 minutes.
If sauce is too thick , add water.
Serve with spaghetti or use as a lasagna meat sauce.
