Grandma's Creamy Fudge Icing

Delightful chocolate icing

Cook sugar , light corn syrup , milk , butter , chocolate or cocoa , and salt over low heat until melted , stirring constantly.

Bring rapidly to a boil.

Boil 1 minute or to 220 degrees.

Remove from heat and beat gently until slightly cool.

Add vanilla.

Continue beating until of spreading consistency.
