It was imperative that my mom make this every year for christmas when i was small. it remains one of my favorite christmas treats still today. always brings back special memories.

Steps

---

Mix sugar , cocoa , milk and butter in a large dutch oven.

---

Put on medium heat and bring to a boil.

---

Remove from heat and cool 1 minute.

---

Add vanilla , salt , peanut butter and oats.

---

Stir well.

---

Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

---

Let cool in fridge.
