German Style Spinach Or Chard


One of those handwritten things, which has been in my folder forever. since we have a bumper crop of swiss chard, it is appearing regularly on the table. not german, but i frequently add feta cheese when served.

Steps


Cook spinach according to package directions.
Drain well and set aside.
In a large skillet , saute onion and garlic in butter until tender.
Stir in spinach , bacon , nutmeg , salt , and pepper.
Heat through.
