Garlic Haricots Verts Almondine
This is a traditional thanksgiving recipe in our house. it is a healthier alternative to green bean casserole. you can use regular green beans, but they will need to steam for an extra 2-3 minutes.
Steps
Place the oil and margarine in a skillet over medium-low heat until melted.
Add the haricots verts , stir , and cover for 3 minutes.
Add the sliced garlic , stir , and saute for 3 more minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients , stir , and saute for the final 3 minutes.
