Featherlight Scones


This is from toh magazine. I haven’t made these yet, but i am typing it up for zwt ii. 8 servings.

Steps


In a bowl , combine the flour , baking powder , baking soda and salt.
Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the egg , yogurt and vanilla until just combined.
Turn onto a floured surface.
Knead 6-8 times.
Roll into a 9 inch circle.
Cut into 8 wedges.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Brush tops with milk.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
