Fantastic Gingersnaps


A recipe of my aunts, excellent cookie that stays soft if kept in a tight covered container.

Steps


Mix dry ingredients.
Mix shortening and sugar.
Add beaten eggs and molasses.
Combine with dry ingredients.
Roll in one inch balls.
Roll in sugar.
Place on greased cookie sheets about an inch apart.
Bake 375f 10 minutes.
Keep in tightly covered container for a soft cookie.
