Easy Crescent Chocolate And Nut Layer Bars
Crescent rolls form a crust for the bars, then topped with chocolate and nuts. You can use chopped walnuts in place of cashews.
Steps
Set oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Unroll the crescent dough into two long rectangles.
Place the dough in the pan and press over the bottom and about 1 / 2-inch up the sides to form a crust.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle with vanilla chips , then chocolate chips , then almonds and then cashews.
Drizzle the condensed milk evenly over the top.
Return to oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes , then run a knife around the sides of the pan.
Cool 1 hour at room temperature , then chill for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
