Using a pestle and mortar or grinder blend all ingredients together until they form a smooth paste.
You should have about 6 tablespoons.

red chilies, shallots, garlic, lemongrass, galangal, coriander powder, ground cumin, coriander roots, shrimp paste, roasted peanuts
