Dessert Citrus Sauce
This is especially good served over gingerbread.
Steps
In 1 quart saucepan , combine sugar and cornstarch.
Gradually stir in water until smooth.
Cook over medium heat , stirring often until boiling.
Boil 1 minute , stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter , juice , and peel until butter is melted.
Serve warm.
