Delicious Caramel Squares
Love this recipe. Melts in your mouth and very easy to make. Can not remember where i got the recipe, but this is a sure fire way to win over the sweet lovers in your family.
Steps
Set oven at 350 degrees.
Grease a 9 x 9 pan.
Put butter and sugar in saucepan and stir over heat until very smooth.
Cool.
Add unbeaten egg.
Sift in flour , baking powder and salt.
Add vanilla.
Mix well until smooth.
Bake 30-40 minutes.
Cut into squares.
Makes about 36 small cookie squares.
