They were my great aunts favorite and the recipe is over 75 years old."

Boil together the butter , sugar dates and egg.

Once boiling continue with rolling boil for 5 minute cool about 5 minutes.

Add rice cereal and roll into balls.

Roll into coconut and cool on wax paper.
