Curried Rice


The curry adds a great color and a wonderful flavor to the rice. Serve with any grilled or roasted meats.

Steps


Heat butter in a saucepan.
Add the onion and garlic.
Cook , stirring , until soft.
Add the remaining ingredients , except the chicken broth , stirring to coat grains.
Add the chicken broth.
Cover.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cook 15 to 20 minutes , until rice is tender.
Remove the bay leaf and serve.
