Cranberry Bars With Cream Cheese Frosting

These bars are incredible. they are so rich with a shortbread like taste and the yummy cream cheese frosting on top. even if you are not a big cranberry fan you will like these! a co-worker brought these to work and i kept sneaking more througout the day. i love them chilled. they are good anytime of year, but i especially love to make them in the fall and at christmas.

Steps

Cream sugar and butter , add eggs.

Add the rest of the ingredients , batter will be very stiff.

Spread in a greased 13x9 pan.

Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350.

Spread frosting on when cool.

---

They are really good chilled before serving.
