Chocolate Chip And Peanut Butter Bars


These bars are addictive and somewhat healthy.

Steps


Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl beat butter with sugars until smooth.
Beat in egg , peanut butter and vanilla until will blended.
In another bowl , whisk together flours , wheat germ , ground flax seed , oats , baking soda and salt.
Beat or stir into butter mixture until smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Spread dough evenly in a buttered 8-inch square baking pan.
Bake until pale golden brown , about 25-30 minutes.
Let cool on rack for about 10 min , then cut into squares.
