Cheesy Chocolate Chip Squares

These are a kid favorite recipe. We can't have a bbq without the kids looking for these. My mom must have gotten this from pillsbury source years ago. I grew up on this cookie.

Steps

---

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut one roll of cookie mix into 1 / 4 inch slices.

Put slices in ungreased 9 x 13 pan.

---

In bowl , blend 16 oz.

---

Cream cheese , at medium speed , until softened.

---

Add sugar and blend well.

---

Add eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly.

---

Pour evenly over slices in the pan.

---

Cut 2nd roll of cookie mix into 1 / 4 inch slices.

Place in pan , on top of mixture.

---

Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.

---

Bake 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

---

Cool completely , slice in squares.

---

Store in refrigerator.
