Char's Bean Pie

This is the recipe i converted from the muhammad speaks newspaper recipe because my husband buys bean pies every saturday. i wanted to bake some for him.

Steps

---

Cook beans in water until soft.

Drain beans.

---

Preheat oven.

---

To 350 degrees.

---

In food processor , blend beans , melted butter , and milk.

---

Transfer to large mixing bowl.

---

In smaller bowl , whip eggs , nutmeg , cinnamon , and vanilla.

---

Add sugar and egg mixture to bean mix.

---

Mix well.

---

Pour into pie shells.

---

Bake about one hour or until golden brown.

---

Makes about six 9 pies".
