Down here on the gulf coast, we have a special way of dealing with tragic events like hurricanes, funerals, and mondays. We drink to it. Here's a little something for current events.

Steps

Muddle the mint and sugar in the bottom of an old fashioned glass.

Squeeze in a lime slice.

Fill glass most of the way with ice , add vodka.

Top off with club soda.

Stick a straw in it , drink , and try not to think about the mess.
