Berry Good For You Smoothie


This shake is loaded with antioxidants and full of flavor. Smoothies are a great way to get a dose of fruit, fiber and good fats. Adding a little canola oil to it provides omega-3 fats and viatmin e as well as a smoother taste. Tip: use fresh or frozen fruit. Your favorite cold tea may be substituted for green tea. I found this recipe at tops market courtesy of canolaninfo. Each serving is 1/2 cup. I have not tried this recipe, but i'm posting it for safe keeping. I plan on using decaff. Green tea.

Steps


In a blender , add banana , blueberries , strawberries , green tea , cranberry juice , ice cubes and canola oil.
Blend until combined.
Serve immediately.
