Sauteed Savoy Cabbage And Pears

Steps


In a large skillet over medium heat , melt 2 tbsp of the butter.
Add the shredded cabbage and toss to coat with the butter.
Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until it is crisp-tender.
While the cabbage is cooking , in a seperate skillet , over med-high heat , melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter.
Add the thinly sliced pears and sugar.
Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Stir the pears into the cabbage skillet.
Cook over medium low heat for about 1-2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve.
