Rozijnen Koekjes Raisin Cookies


Spicy and sweet, this old favorite is from the michigan dutch chapter of the united states regional cookbook, culinary arts institute of chicago, 1947.

Steps


Preheat oven to 375f.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add salt , sour milk and eggs.
Beat well.
Sift spices with two cups of the flour into the sugar / butter / egg mixture.
Add nuts and raisins and enough more flour to make a dough that will drop from a spoon.
Drop from a teaspoon onto a cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until golden.
