Banana Split Bars


Yummy bars to use up those over-ripe bananas. you can also ripen bananas quickly by placing them in the refrigerator for several hours.

Steps


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour a 13x9 pan.
Bars:.
Combine the flour , sugar , baking soda , salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Set aside.
In a separate bowl , mash bananas with a fork to make 1 cup.
Add pineapple with juice , eggs , oil and vanilla.
Stir in cherries.
Stir flour mixture into banana mixture , mixing until well combined.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minute remove from the oven and let cool 30 minute.
Icing:.
Heat butter and milk in a saucepan until the butter melts.
Remove from the heat.
Stir in the confectioners sugar and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Spread the icing over the bars.
