Banana Sauce
For birthday's, young people always requested a plan yellow cake with grandmas banana sauce. It makes a supreme dessert. This came from cooking with carol a taste of the past. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping.
Steps
Mix the sugar and the cornstarch.
Add boiling water gradually , stirring constantly.
Cook , over low heat for 8-10 minutes.
Add mashed bananas , mix thoroughly.
Add banana slices and butter.
Serve hot.
