Porridge Oatmeal


Belly-warmer on a frosty morn. This british breakfast dish is made special with the addition of bananas and raisins.

Steps


In a saucepan , combine the oats , water , salt , sugar , and cinnamon.
Bring to a boil , then reduce heat to low , and simmer until the liquid has been absorbed , stirring frequently.
Pour into bowls , and top each with a pat of butter , bananas , raisins , and a splash of cold milk.
