Pork Madeira
This is my husbands favorite pork recipe. it's super simple but the outcome is sophisticated enough for guests.
Steps
Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
Add mushrooms and green onions , cook 2-3 minutes until tender.
Season meat with salt and pepper.
Add to skillet and cook until browned.
Turning once.
Pour in wine or broth , 1 / 4 c water and worcestershire sauce.
Reduce heat and simmer until pork is tender , about 10 minutes remove pork to platter.
Dissolve cornstarch in 1t water.
Stir into sauce in skillet.
Increase heat to med.
And stir until thickened , about 3 minutes pour over pork and serve.
